Life can feel messy, complicated, and overwhelming at times - usually more often than we want. We all come from some sort of family legacy, and we move forward into the world creating our own family legacy. If you're reading this, it's probably because something in your own family story, past or present, is making it difficult to move into the unknown of the future. I have a particular warm spot for parents - those parenting young babies and kids, as well as those moving through the turbulent adolescent years.Â
Therapy can be a space where you can slow down, take a deep breath, and start to untangle all the internal and external pressures life brings. I am a licensed therapist in the state of Washington (license #MC61530229). I work with individuals, as well as couples and parents. I believe that relationships are built on emotional expression, vulnerability and honesty, and I believe therapy can help to build different emotional and relational muscles. If you are looking for in-person therapy in Seattle, I look forward to hearing from you. My office is centrally located in Madison Valley, 8 minutes from Montlake/520, convenient to the Central District, UDistrict, Beacon Hill, South Seattle and the Eastside. I also meet with people via telehealth as needed, though I find the person-to-person benefits of in-person therapy quite compelling.
